From my favorite line in the movie Barnyard, "I'll do what I want, when I want, when I wanna do it."
In third grade, when you had to write what you wanted to be when you grew up, my list went on for about a page and a half. Mostly because it was wide rule paper and my handwriting was horrible. (still is) But also because I couldn't narrow it down. So much to do, so little time.
I'm thirty-(not finishing that number)something now and my list is even bigger. Does that mean I haven't grown up yet? Some people are shaking their heads right now. (Stop it traitors!)
I had to cross off soccer star when I broke my shooting toe my sophomore year and had to side-line my career. But coaching my own little soccer stars has been a great experience.
Astronaut got shot down after the age of 12 because of severe motion sickness. Stupid motion sickness. But I do get to pretend to be an astronaut with my little Nathan. (Not puking is a definite benefit.)
Concert pianist isn't going to come to fruition, but I do have two pianos and can experience beautiful music in my home. My daughter however, has the talent and dedication I lacked.
The list goes on and on. But here's the sweetest part of my bowl, I have a husband who supports my need to learn and grow. I feel like I can try to do anything because well, he thinks I'm a genius. (I'm not, but its still good to hear it.)
I'm living the dream, a home, a family, friends, great friends, and a faith that sustains me through all the hard parts inbetween.
Just thought I'd give a shout-out to today, to my life, to my dreams. Thank you all for being a part of it.

I love your blog! You are a great writer. The pic of the cherries was just cruel to a pregnant woman!
Way to be positive and I think you can check some of those things off your list. Playing astronaut with your kids is just as good as being a real astronaut. :)
