Remember The Olden Days?

Do you remember the olden days, when there were rotary phones? Remember when if you wanted to talk to someone while you were away from home, you had to find a payphone and actually put money in it? Remember camera's with the flashbulbs? And film?

Remember when going to McDonald's was birthday party worthy and not just something people do 3 times a week?

Remember when hanging your head out the car window wasn't a reason to get pulled over and thrown in jail for child neglect?

Remember riding your bike? All over the place? And your parents had no clue where you were?

Remember checkbooks?

Remember when you had to move the sprinkler around the yard to water it?

Remember how only rich people had air conditioning?

Remember when candy and dessert were a luxury?

Remember patching jeans instead of just buying new ones?

Remember paper dolls?

Remember when getting toys only happened on your birthday and Christmas?

Remember when only a few people had huge, fat computers with black and white screens?

Remember there wasn't always an internet?

Remember when sending someone a letter required the use of a mailbox?

Remember when Saturday Night Live was funny?

Remember when you only got new clothes at the beginning of the school year? And you had school shoes, and play shoes? And if you wore your school shoes out to play, you were busted.

Remember station wagons? And no seatbels?

Remember when people changed their own oil, and washed their own cars, and mowed their own lawns?

Remember when you started reading this? It was like an hour ago.
