17!!!!!
That's right, I have officially spent over half my life at girls camp. 17 years of spending a week with 12-18 year old girls. And this is the very first year I will have my own daughter there.
Madelyn tried to make me pinky swear that I wouldn't embarass her, but where is the fun in that?
It's time to pack and make sure I'm not forgetting the most important of things. This is also one of the few years I'm not in charge of something, or everything. I'm going as a warm body and chaperone for the 30 beehives we have. Oh the fun I will have.
I owe much of who I am to experiences like girls camp, and I am glad to return again and again to try to give back what I received.

I won't be at Bear Lake. We will be in Utah in July, around the 11th. I must see you then! I love you and have missed you much!
I have girl's camp next week. And I"m in charge. I can't wait until it's over.
Wow! 17 years!! I am sure the girls love...and need you there. I haven't been back since. They still have me in the primary, which I love. Have a blast and be kind to your only daughter.
ahhh can't wait to hear all about it! i know you'll have them painting their faces with glow paint, digging trenches, raiding other wards' tents, skinny dipping....need i go on?
