Post-Girls Camp

Sleep deprivation becomes more difficult the older I get. I don't think I ever slept in college. My roommates are still cursing my name. -sorry-

The week was filled with hats and pony-tails, bandana's, t-shirts and jeans, bug spray, and sweat. Showers were good. Having that strong stench of camp-fire washed out of your hair is priceless. Too bad it takes a week of washing to totally get rid of it.

Camping is the only time tin-foil dinners are delicious, as long as they're not burnt to a crisp or raw. One thing you will never do at our camp is starve. There was so much food - too much, I feel like I need to hit the treadmill more ferociously. (okay- I mean I need to get on it period.)

Having Madelyn at camp this year meant that I had someone to squeeze and kiss whenever I wanted. (sometimes to her embarassment)

Was there a water fight? Hello... who's writing this? Yes, yes there was, and I am the victor. I like having a stake camp, where you have all the wards there at the same time. So many more potential victims.

I'm tired. I came home, hit the shower and crashed for a few hours on the bed. My prince charming washed all my clothes and made dinner while I slept. (sorry - he's taken.)

But it was all well worth it, and another year full of friends and new memories.
